Who can join Her Wollongong?
HER Wollongong is for women across Wollongong and the Illawarra who want to meet new people, make friendships, discover new experiences and feel part of a local community.
Whether you’re new to the area, your friendship circle has changed, you’re entering a new stage of life, or you’d simply love to meet more women locally — you’re welcome at HER.
What kind of experiences will HER offer?
HER brings women together through relaxed catch-ups, local experiences, special events and opportunities to try something new.
Think coffee and brunch, dinners and drinks, creative experiences, local adventures and plenty more — all designed to make connecting with other women feel natural.
Do I need to know someone before coming along?
Not at all. In fact, HER is designed to make coming along on your own feel a little easier.
Come with someone you know or come on your own. Either way, you’ll be welcomed into a community where meeting new people is the whole point.
Is HER Wollongong just for singles?
No. HER is for women at all stages of life.
HER Connections will include opportunities specifically for single women, but the wider HER community is about friendship, connection, shared experiences and belonging — whatever your relationship status.

We simply ask everyone who is part of HER to treat one another with kindness and respect, respect personal boundaries and privacy, and help us keep HER a positive place to be.
What is HER Learning?
HER Learning is where we’ll share resources, ideas and experiences designed to inspire personal growth, wellbeing and learning.
It’s another way HER can support women beyond our social experiences, with more coming as the community grows.
